Here  it  is  another  design of  Nicolas Pietu, the Ixcess biplane, which  wake up my interest. Like Mercury F3P  I've made the  plan  after  some  pictures posted on internet  and  a  big help was the building manual of the original model.
      The electronics i've used were:
        - FLY-12A BLMC, HiModel
        - BL HACKER A 10 L
        - 1  x  Servo  Robbe  FS-31  Pico  for
           elerons
        - 2  x  Jamara  Servo  5 G  Digital  for
          elevator and rudder
        - 1 Dulasky lipo (7 V 450 mAh)
        - 1 Penta Micro reciever (5 Ch)

Building the IXCESS
Here  are few words about the building of the model.
I've  started  with  the  plans  printed on thick  A4  paper. For  cutting  the  depron (all   cuts  including   milling)  I've  used  a razor     blade    which   I've   cutted    with a    scissors.    For     putting    all     parts together  I'm  using  a wood  polyuretanic monocomponent    glue    which   is   very strong and makes a common mass  with the foam.

For     covering     I've     used     simple garbage   bags   (  actually    the smallest plastic   bags   which   are  very  thin  and more easy  than  mylar). For  glueing  the bags  on the model  I've  used  an  acrylic varnish  and for  stretching  the  covering, the heating  gun, but with care, otherwise the bag melts or compromise.

Assembling the hole tail
For  upper  wing  I used  a 3 mm balsa spar,  thinking  that  the  hole wing will be lighter  than   the   lowerr   wing,   but   the diference   is   too   small,   about  1 - 1,5 grams.
For  both  rudder  and  elevator  I  did't use     carbon     rods   but   I   made    the conection servos-rudder &elevator   with  tooth   flush    which  is  very  strong,  and light.

Total  weight  gain  because of milling is    between   25 - 30   grams   which   is enough  but  I think It doubled the working time for building the model.

For  joining  the  servo  to  the elerons I've    used    1   mm    carbon   rods   and shrinking tube.

The  model  flyies quite well and very slow.  It  responds  very  well  on  elevator and rudder but because of shrinking tube joinings   the   elerons  moves  very  slow and the model rolls too slow.
Otherwise even  at  low  speeds and high   alpha   the   model  responds  wery well.  The  Gravity  Center  is  around 7-8 cm from  the  leading  edge of  the  lower wing.
