Here it is my version of Nicolas Pietu model Mercury F3P.
I have to say that the plans are made by myself after
pictures and building instructions published on internet.
The pictures are taken from the first model i've
made which came out at about 160 grams RTF. The model is made of 3 mm white
depron and for reinforcement I've used 1 mm carbon rods.
The construction was preety like in the building instruction of the original
model with some minor diferences. The electronics i've used were:
- FLY-12A
BLMC, HiModel
- BL AXI 2203/46 GOLD LINE
- 1 x Servo Robbe FS-31 Pico for elerons
- 2 x Jamara Servo 5 G Digital for elevator and rudder
- 1 Dulasky lipo (7 V 450 mAh)

MERCURY F3P
The model flies very slow, precise and generally well, but I have
to say that it has some problems with the rudder on Top Hat (is very stable because of the
large fuselage area). Maybe that is why the second version of Mercury designed by Nicolas Pietu, Mercury Evolution
has a changed fuselage shape.

I have to say that my plans are not like the original on all aspects, but
i think is the best copy of the original model. Below are some pictures of designing
stages of the actual plan.
